Westville Country Club and Pots ‘n Shots invite members and supporters to join us for a special Blackball Pool Fundraiser Tournament on Saturday, 6 June 2026, in support of one of our talented young cue sport athletes, Kaleb.
Kaleb’s pool journey began at the age of nine when he first started playing with his father and brother. What began as a family pastime quickly developed into a passion for the sport. Over the years, he honed his skills playing league pool at both Chiltern Sports Lounge and Pots ‘n Shots, helping him grow into the competitive player he is today.
In 2022, at just 13 years old, Kaleb qualified to represent South Africa at the World 8 Ball Pool Championships in Tangier, Morocco. Competing in the Under-15 division, he achieved an impressive 8th-place finish individually while Team South Africa secured the overall title, earning him a World Championship gold medal.
After qualifying for further international competition, Kaleb recently transitioned to Heyball and joined Q-Club in Umhlanga. His dedication and hard work have once again paid off, with Kaleb earning selection for South Africa’s Under-19 team that will compete at the Heyball World Championships in Oslo, Norway, from 12 to 17 June 2026.
To help raise funds for this incredible opportunity, Pots ‘n Shots will host a Blackball Pool Fundraiser Tournament on Saturday, 6 June.
