Michelle

Line Dancing Instructor

Michelle is the founder of her own Line Dancing company, a vibrant community that brings people together through music, movement, and meaningful connections. Inspired by the success of the original Line & Wine community established in Cape Town in 2021, Michelle launched the KwaZulu-Natal chapter in 2026 with a simple vision: to create a welcoming space where people can reconnect, have fun, and build lasting friendships.

Line dancing is about far more than learning steps – it’s about creating memorable experiences, sharing laughter, and enjoying an active social lifestyle. Classes are open to women and men of all ages and experience levels, making it easy for anyone to join, whether you’re stepping onto the dance floor for the first time or returning to a favourite hobby.

Social line dancing is an enjoyable and inclusive activity where participants learn choreographed routines performed together in lines – no dance partner is required. Set to a wide variety of music, classes help improve coordination, confidence, and fitness while providing a relaxed and supportive environment where everyone is encouraged to participate at their own pace.

Michelle’s focus is not on competition, but on creating a friendly community where people feel welcome, leave smiling, and look forward to every class.

Whether you’re looking for a new hobby, an enjoyable way to stay active, or a place to meet new people, they are ready to welcome you – one dance at a time.

Mark Hardie has been dedicated to the art of Capoeira since he began training in Durban in 2004. Combining martial arts, movement, music, culture, and community, Capoeira has become both his passion and his way of inspiring others to discover the joy of movement.

His commitment to continual learning and personal growth culminated in 2025, when he graduated as an Instructor of Escola de Capoeira (Belgium). Today, he proudly teaches for the school in Durban, sharing the rich traditions and dynamic movements of this unique discipline.
